REMAKING A PIECE OF FURNITURE - MUSICAL CHAIR.
Remaking and Revitalising old furniture has a certain beauty in a world that frequently favours the new. Re-purposing furniture, whether it's an heirloom from the family, something you found at a thrift store, or something you picked up off the curb, can be a creative and satisfying process.
From the creative theories exercises, there was an imaginative exercise we did that was given to us by Nigel, the text I imagined was what was used to remake my piece of furniture.

I went to the British Heart Foundation at the City Centre to search for a furniture, I opted for wood because it mirrors the historical aesthetic.

During the creative exercise with Sebastine we made some music by hitting different materials against each-other and we were able to be one with Wymering as well as using Wymering as a tool of music.
The Process:
I decided to combine both exercises and made a Musical Chair.
